Animation Mentor - Class1 - Week 3

Week three!!

In this week We had to make another Stu pose ans my first animation in Animation Menor.. a bouncing ball.

For the Stu pose, we had to sketch many figure human poses expresing "Excitement" and then to pick one and put Stu in that pose! I´m very satisfied with the result!





Then we had to plan our bouncing ball, thinking in the timing and spacing. This bouncing had to be in a weight for a basket-ball and it had to be convincing.



Then all of the sketch planed We applied to a ball in Maya. And this is the result:

Animation Mentor - Class1 - Week 2

Yeeeaaahhh my first assigment!!! The lecture was about the Principles of Animation, an excelent start!

My fisrt assigment was to go to the public place and make some sketches from people doing whatever thing, and then choose one pose and take our character (provided by Animation Mentor and his name is STU) in the software Maya and put it in the pose chosen.

Even the minimum movement of a part of the body is essencial to have a strong pose. That is i have learned in this week!

Animation Mentor - Class1 - Week 1

eeeeeeey!!!

Finally I´m thereee!!! I´m so excited.
There is a ton of things to do in the school´s web page!! We have an awsome introduction by the Animation Mentor founders Bobby beck (pixar), Shawn kelly (Industrial Light and Magic) and Carlos Baena (Pixar).

In this first week we don´t have assigment, we just have to know all the campus, meet people, make friends, watch training videos, learn some tools, know the awesome Forum, and practicaly know how Animation Mentor works which is amazing!!!

Can´t wait to start my firs assigment next week!!!

Animation Mentor start´s on a week!!

Hi!! Well I´m going to show you all my journey through Animation Mentor here in my Blog!
I hope to be on time to show my progress each week, but I know that there will be weeks very hard, and maybe i will be late to upload my progress work! but, be shure it´ll be here ok?

Sorry, I know my english is soooo terrible, but i´m improvising at the same time I´m learning animation! hahaha!

I just want to say that i´m currently very happy in my life with this oportunity which I´m shure I´m not going to wasting it

This was a test for Anima Studios. The test was to make the character come, sit in the chair, take the glass and drink, then leave it on the table and finish relaxed.
